GLADIUS. NEW BORN IN TEXO GROUP

New Gladius Rotary Die Cutter distinguishes itself from Excalibur model for the following features:

 

The kinematics of the line is composed of the following asynchronous motors in eccentric axes handled by Indramat Bosch  electronic:

 

·   Feeling Unit : 3 motors

·   Printing Unit  Single Colo :3 direct drive motors

·   Printing Unit  Twin Color : 4 direct drive motors

·   Transfer Unit : 1 motor

·   Die Cutting Unit : 2 motors

 

Morever, GLADIUS is charachterized by Twin Color printing units. This device consists in the possibility to have two screened rolls for each printing unit, ready to be used in alternative. This solution permits to set up every single printing unit with two different screen/ flows and allows to have really fast set up.

The shift from one screened cylinder to the other is completely automatic and immediate.

The inking system, the chambered doctor blades and the washing system are completely splitted.

 

To be more detailed :

 

- Double screened roll to have the possibility to adapt the screening to the printing  quality requested.

-  Double inking system and double chamber doctor blade to allow to change quickly the color by substituting only the stereo and to wash an inking circuit while the unit is printing with the other one.

    

Morever Gladius  distinguishes itself from the other more traditional Rotary Die Cutter models  for :

 

-  Direct drive on every rolls to allow the adjustments of printing development due to inaccuracies in stereo construction or due to printing pressure or stereo thickness out of specification.

- Stereo holder cylinder equipped with the rapid attachment system with oscillating tension system. This maintain the stereo always tensioned during the working process , allowing to the operator to adjust some mounting defaults of the stereo by leaning the printing respect to the working direction.    

-  The big dimension of the frames of the units (1300 mm) allowed us to increase the effectiveness of the drying system.
